The Iditarod gained another musher over the weekend for the 2024 Iditarod, Deke Naaktgeboren.
Deke received his 2024 entry fee as part of the 2023 Leonhard Seppala Humanitarian Award presented by the Pike Dog Wellness First Initiative, in which he demonstrated outstanding dog care while remaining competitive throughout the race.
